The recent Te Awamutu Rotary Book Fair was a fantastic success, raising more than $16,500 for Rotary projects and initiatives in our local community.
A huge thank you goes to the Te Awamutu community for the incredible generosity shown through donations of books, jigsaws, CDs and DVDs. The fantastic range of items donated helped make the fair a great success, and it was wonderful to see so many people coming along to browse, buy and support Rotary.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Te Awamutu Mega Mitre 10, who once again provided a convenient drop-off point for books and puzzles. Your support made it so much easier for members of the community to donate their unwanted items.
Of course, an event like this wouldn't be possible without our amazing team of volunteers. A very special thank you goes to the many non-Rotary volunteers who come along year after year to help us. Your continued support, enthusiasm and hard work are very much appreciated.
The funds raised will help the Rotary Club of Te Awamutu continue supporting local schools, youth programmes, community projects and other worthwhile initiatives throughout our community.
